I am a 26 year old photojournalist from Oslo, Norway with a BA in Photojournalism. My current base is Los Angeles, USA where I freelance for Scandinavian media covering news and feature stories.
In 2014 I travelled to China to work on my first independent photo story, The Leftover Women. The project was supported by Lens Magazine and Tencent China and I was granted the photography grant "Changing China". My stories has been published in The New York Times (USA) Die Welt (Germany) and in several Marie Claire's around the world (France, Hungary, CZ, Mexico, China, Romania, Nederland) ) among others.
I have received several photography prices in Norway's biggest photo competitions, among others portraits and video categories in the Norwegian picture of the year-competition.
My heart beats for stories regarding women's rights, technology and in general new exciting trends in the society. With my background as an intern, and later freelancer, for The Norwegian Business daily, I'm good at visualizing themes that are not necessarily very visual to begin with.
